I just picked up an '06 HiHy (like that shortening a lot!) 5 days ago. A friend told me that her friend had the same car and her friend's kids spilled a drink in the back seat (2nd row). According to the friend of the friend, the battery is under the 2nd row of seats, it is not shielded from moisture, and the spilled drink dripped onto the battery. Said that the damage to the battery ran the friend of the friend $1500.

The whole "friend of a friend" intro reeks of an urban legend, but it never hurts to check. Have any of you people here heard of this kind of accident?
