Using 'Pause' and 'Wait' with Speed Dial

Using 'Pause' and 'Wait' with Speed Dial
I had to transfer my phone numbers manually, as my phone was only partially compatible with the Bluetooth system.
I have many numbers where I have waits or pauses programmed in. The option is in the system, so I programmed them into my speed dial numbers. Unfortunately, there is no pausing or waiting.
Neither my navigation or owner's manuals make any mention of this feature.
Anyone get it to work for them?
