Couple of questions:
1. Is ScanGauge II still the way to go?
2. Has anybody used the BlendMount? How was the install? Does it work for you?
Ok, that's four questions . . .

I was a little disappointed with the lack of intuitiveness of my SG-II, but haven't tried any of the others. I've figured out how to get what I want out of it -- trip stats and instantaneous readings. Could care less about programming in what my gas costs and having it ring up the trip like a taxi meter.
I just used the velcro that came with the SG-II, and attached it out of the direct sunlight, below the radio. Even mounted out of direct sunlight, the stickum on the back of the velcro let go as soon as the summer heat hit. Since then I stick it back in place and it holds for my half-hour commute, but it's always let go by the next time I jump into the rig. My next solution to try is some 'Industrial Strength Velcro' from Home Despot. I'm hoping the stickum is also industrial strength, not just the loop/hook.
I've not seen this fancy BlendMount. If it also depends on the velcro that comes with the SG-II, I imagine it'll flop loose as soon as the car warms up.
