Long time member, infrequent poster...

I just got back from the Toyota dealer in Hawaii... went to get some batteries for my FOB (Thanks to all who posted in that thread!). As I was walking back to my car, the new grill caught my eye. I went to look at it and got a few pictures before the salesperson came out and greeted me...

Check out the tail lights... its only red around the edges. Otherwise the entire tail is clear.

tail lights don't have to be red? (yes, I see the red outline)

 

They have to show as red when "on", but don't need to be red when off....EXCEPT, there has to be red reflectors on the rear. The LEDs are clear unless on. Have a look a the tail end of a Lexus RX Hybrid. The tail lights appear to be clear. The required red reflectors are lower on the bumper. So I guess the red outline on the 2010 TCH is reflector only.

I just don't like the new front end.

 

Does it still have a incandescent turn signal and backup bulb?

From looking at the provided pictures I'd say yes.

 

I think the front looks pretty good, don't know about the tail lights. I probably need to see them in person. It'd be nice if they made the black "grille" parts underneath chrome to match the upper grille.

Why can you order a 2010 TCH in Canada and the US site does not even show it yet?
