After 17 months my nav unit died. Black screen, unable to open CD/DVD unit. Radio worked fine, and if I hit the audio button and touched an area of the screen when a preset was located, the channel would change. No problems in past! Took to dealer - they ordered another unit that took about 2 weeks to be delivered (to Michigan). New unit is fine, but disconcerting that this happened. Think I will definitely buy an extended warranty. Anyone else with a nav unit that died???

 

My nav unit died in August of 2006. It took almost 3 months to get the right one in as the first replacement part did not have the hybrid energy monitor screens.
