Default ecodrive score below 6l/100 kms

hello all, i frequently get "excellent" after I switch off the car and the instaneous fuel economy goes to the third level which is 6l/100 kms however it is possible to show below this level? i.e i may have done 5l/100 kms but it only shows to 6l/100km.

The display is fixed. No matter how much better you get, it will still just show that 6l/100km.

If you want to know what you are truly getting, get a ScanGuageII.

Once you install it, calibrate the speed against a GPS. The fuel is self calibrating by using the fillup function.

ok, so i did a few trips with my scangauge, today we had appalling weather, the temps outside were about 57F in rain and wet roads and i managed to get 42mpg and high 30s, i am so impressed with this car, only small gripe is that on the display in which you cycle through it does not have elapsed time, i wish they also had this as they have distance traveled since start.

You might be able to set it as an xGauge as it does have that function under the 'trip' menus.

Send them an e-mail. It may take a week or so to get a reply though.

On the SG you can program custom gauges. Look in the manual or go to their website...

The ScanGauge II has a feature called X-gauge. It allows you to manually create a readout not normally already in the gauge. The X-gauge selections are listed on their homepage below and can be added to your SC. I don't think the one for horsepower or traction battery voltage works for the Camry.
