Hey Guys,
So I recently hit a bank and messed up my front end a bit, no frame damage only parts.
The thought came into my mind, how about fixing up a 2012 Front Bumper cover, Headlights, Fenders, Hood and grill? I dont have to change everything if I dont need to. Has anyone attempted or have you known anyone or posts to do it.
Any thoughts will be helpful? I like the way the 2012 front end looks.
Or I would like to even have a 2011 Camry SE bumper booted up. Any modifications need to be done to mount up SE to Hybrid? Has it been attemped or is it possible without much modifications inside?

The fenders off of a 2012 would look weird without serious body modification. The 2012 has a different body line than the 2011. On the 2012, the line that runs across the door handles aims downward as the line moves towards the fender. On the 2011, that line runs straight. Also, where the fender meets the A pillar will be another problem area that just would not "look right". On the 2011, there is a "roll" in the sheet metal towards the top. This line runs from the fender into the doors. On the 2012, this is absent. The 2012 is a more "slab sided" design. The way the door and fenders meet the A pillar on both cars is completely different.
Sounds like an ambitious project... Good luck! Post pictures if you do it.
