Can someone confirm their glove box is lighted? Maybe I am losing my mind but I swear mine was, and now after taking it to the dealer it is not lit, but I don't see a bulb or light in there....

 

Haven't checked mine yet, but have you tried yours at night? I believe That Toyotas are set up so the glove box light is only on when the headlights are on.

Edit: OK.. I can confirm that my glove box is lighted only when the headlights are on.

 

Huh, that's kinda of silly yet I can see the reasoning. Maybe we can tap into another power line (cigarette lighter) that is always hot and have it work all the time. I assume there is a switch in the glove box that shuts it off when the door is closed. (Sorry no TCH yet to play with.).

Anyone want to experiment?

 

My TCH glove box is illuminated when the parking and/or headlights are on.
