Does anyone know how to take apart the center console (the area that contains the stereo in particular)? I know how to take apart the lower end, but I would like to take apart the stereo player section or the "face plates(blue thingy)" for the climate control and stereo player.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I apologize if this is a repeat post...

try a search under rear camera and it should include a real detailed explanation on how to remove the stereo

the hardest part was getting the thin plastic spatulas under the center vents in order to release the tabs to gain access to the top of the radio bolts.
