Default Bluetooth Voice Recognition

Does anybody know how to reduce the sensetivity of the mic. My Bluetooth will work if there is no background noise, the car has to be motionless. When at speed with the ac on it is useless. If there is no way to reduce it I'm thinking of perhaps a foam filte or something over the mic.

Any thoughts???

Do you have the NAV or the non-NAV unit? In the NAV diagnostic menu there are settings to alter the Bluetooth telephone sound levels and quality.

Yes, I have the Nav. Please tell me more. Where and how in the nav diagnostics is the menu. How do you acsess it? The sensitivity of the mic has to be reduced.

The dealer had me drive 25 miles down to him because they needed my phone because they didn't have any way to diagnose the problem. So I hung around there for 3 hours while they messed with it. It never occured to them to use a phone of their own. They are totally clueless and they still have my car, so any info you have I'll pass on to them

Not sure if this is where you'll find the answer, but it's a good start:

Thanks for the link!
Not to be a pia but I don't have the car, the dealer does. So my question before I provide them this info is does it provide a adjustment for the mic sensitivity? The speaker from the car is fine but speaking a command to it is where the problem comes in.
I'm thinking of perhaps pulling the car out of the service department and doing it myself. But if there is no adjustment for the mic......
