Default Anyone know of any NC Hybrid tax incentives??

I was just wondering if anyone had heard of any NC state tax incentives?? I looked and all i found was that they were not brought to a vote yet. I have the federal tax credit of $650 from taking delivery before September 30th 2007.

Nope. Place I looked for available incentives was http://www.hybridcars.com/incentives-laws.html. Don't see anything for NC.

CJO -

As per our mini-discussion in the other forum about NYS tax incentives... I just thought of a good reason why we probably aren't getting them anymore... Cause our AWESOME new governor Elliott Spitzer is trying to pass a law so illegal immigrants without SSNs can get driver's licenses. I sure am glad he is wasting his time, energy and money on something SOOoOooO important to national security.

I'll garnish my wages to you if you can give me a lead on a job in NC so I can get outta here

I work at a (closing) pharmaceutical plant. I think it would be a great job if the plant were staying open, but it's not and 99% of the people are miserable and it makes work very tough. Never mind that it's as far north as you can go in NY without crossing into canada!!! I've been there close to 2 years, despite being told it would only be a 6 month job when I started.

Sounds like the last contract job i worked. It was the worst job i have ever had...........in 20 years of military service and 12-15 different civilian jobs before and after. There are alot of drug companies here..........but they are hard to get good jobs in i think. My new job is a with a big company and a job with benifits too! I have a 2 year Electronic Engineering Technology degree and 15 years experience on the F-16 in the Air Force in Avionics.

as much as this job pays, I don't think I want to work in pharmaceuticals after this... Although it seems like a promising career field, seeing as how they're coming out with new "diseases" (everytime I see a commercial for restless leg syndrome I shake my head)

I have a degree in meteorology, but my real love is airplanes

That's cool!! I also LOVE airplanes........hence my career in the AF and 15 years of maintaining the F-16. I have flown on numerous aircraft in the Air Force inventory.........including the F-16, KC-10, C-5, KC-135, C-141, and the C-130. I chose to move away from AC after i left the militray though..........but still love keeping up with the latest!

I just took the air traffic controller test on dec 26th. I figure its a good mix between meteorology and aviation... I'll get to look at both all day
