I don't know if it's the same guy or I read it in PriusChat about no 2007s with disc v7.1

While there I'll inquire about NAV 7.1 but my book says its TeleAtlas, NavTeq (both are listed) and Denso while the Map Info says 6.05.12 and the DVD says 6.1. Looks like there may be more than one version running around. Of course like movies on DVD having region codes to prevent them from showing up on foreign soil before they even hit the theaters there, Toyota may be releasing 7.1 to specific models before rolling it out to everybody.

BTW, my sticker says the port/plant is Benicia, CA which is a sea port outside of Oakland. I thought all TCH were being made in KY now.

Interesting. So they're using both suppliers? I wonder who supplies the map (it's possible that they get the map from one and the POIs from another)

Here's an interesting site:
http://www.toyota-mapupdates.eu

Keep in mind it's Europe, so may not be applicable, but when I type in either the 6.1 disk I have (86271 53021) or the other number the dealer gave me (86271 53022) it says I have the most current map disk.

Also, it looks like based on the NavTeq site that Toyota is using them in Europe, but it "disappears" when you select North America.

My '08 (KY-built) came with 6.1.

And even though I live very close to the Georgetown plant, the dealer I bought from was getting about an even mix of KY and Japan hybrids. The vast majority of gas-only Camrys are from Georgetown (and now the Subaru plant in Indiana), though.

Alright so I had a look at the local dealer's lot.

I can confirm that Canadian LE models have optional Leather Package with dual-stage heated front seats. That's right, the LE gets two heat levels and the factory-equipped XLE V6 model only gets one stage.
