200-250 miles with over 100kw charging would be sufficient. My PHEV only has 24 miles and does local trips fine on ev only.

I live in California. Just drive around town so Price:
$30,000 Range:
300 miles Charging time:
30 mins Sounds good to me.
But is there any vehicle with those specs?

Among findings in the 2022 Global Automotive Consumer Study, U.S. consumers expect fully charged E.V.s to travel upwards of 500 miles, while a range of about 250 miles is acceptable to those in China, Japan, and India

I'm not American so I just wondering, is 500 miles too much?

150 miles would be OK for most of my driving, but 500 miles would be necessary to feel comfortable for it to be my only car.

500 miles is a good number. But to find an E.V. that affords 500 miles at an affordable price is quite difficult. The Kia EV6 Long Range (77.4 kWh) / AWD with 506 km has already priced over $60,000.

Is there any model with 400 miles and price from $40,000? No Chinese cars please!

You may want to see the VF9 of VinFast. According to the company, the VF9 should be good for a whopping 423 miles per full charge

Impossible. The Model Y Long Range or Mach-E Extended Range are already priced over $50,000.

Isn't $40,000 for a new E.V. brand too expensive?
