Default Hyundai: Dollars & Sense ... MPG too??

I've noticed the Hyundai "Dollars and Sense" commercials, not quite sure about why when suddenly it struck me. "Are they also claiming MPG as part of the savings???"

So far, it looks like they are only talking about the purchase price of the cars but the 'scripts' seem to suggest operational savings without being terribly precise. It would be height of irony to see a non-hybrid car company trying to use higher MPG as a sales pitch for their cars . . . given how many times skeptics have used faux MPG savings to bash our hybrids.

In the past, other car manufacturers have tried to tout their MPG without making the claim it would save the buyer a lot of money. It was included along with 'styling' and 'color' . . . another option. LOL!

Hyundai-Kia's fleet average is lower than average, and better than most:
