Not bad. I suspect though that animals will start growing on it and will have to be periodicaly scraped off.

Hey! I think this is a great idea.
If this really takes off....which I hope it does.....

This brings to mind the wind turbine project of Nantucket Sound:
Cape Wind is a proposal for America’s first offshore wind farm to be located on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket Sound, six miles offshore Hyannis Port, Cape Cod.
Cape Wind will provide three-quarters of the electricity used on Cape Cod and the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in average conditions.

I'd bet scientists would shut it down because they believe it bothers some benign species due to minute changes in ocean currents, mechanical noise etc.
