Question Problem with ABS/charging...

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on this forum. I own a 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid (94,000 mi.), which I've had since it was brand new in mid-2007.

Recently I've had an issue with my ABS light turning on and off intermittently, usually at speeds above 35 MPH. I've also had the traction control kick in when braking suddenly.

In the last month, I've noticed that when I brake, the meter on the instrument panel no longer says it's charging, and my assist performance has decreased tremendously.

I know it's a lot to take in at once, lol, but is there anyone out there with similar issues with this model year? If so, what was diagnosed, and what was covered under the warranty? I have an appointment with a dealership on Friday.

Thanks in advance!

Deb
