Default So Glad ESPN Rated This SB Commericial....

Driving to work, there is an ESPN radio station that plays the "Mike and Mike Show". They were discussing the Super Bowl of course. They typically differ with each other but there was no arguement on the worst Super Bowl commercial.

NYC is being pilliages by a Godzilla-like monster. A giant robot meets her and she chills out. They have a "baby monster" - an H3.

I sort of halfway expected Mike "Greenie" Greenberg to say he liked the "It's hard to be Green" commericial the best.

Testosteroosterone, man, you gotta love it and what better place to advertise it than during the stupor-bowl .........I'm gonna run out and buy me one of those H3 things.....

All kidding aside, you could probably relate godzilla to big-oil and the robot to our addiction to it. Thus, after mating, they create another hideous all consuming machine......the H3.

Come to think about it, a guy like Ben Rothlisberger that likes motorcycles and dogs can't be bad...

Default GM: The Party's Over

General Motors could only wish their bottom line was as amusing as that commercial (not very funny). That ad is connected with the problems in this story > GM's fate: A Hail Mary

They might do this at the end of all of the Hummer commercial, I never watch commercials anymore thanks to the DVR but I made an exception for the superbowl, but I noticed a pretty view of the Earth from space. Almost made me feel like the Hummer was some how good for the blue planet. Marketing.

Default Another Review...

(MSNBC) Cadillac — Another production number that was less than thrilling was the “fashion show” featuring the 2007 Escalade rising from a pool of water.

So, to summarize: Toyota was a winner, with inventive, novel advertising. Ford and GM were losers with tired misfires. Sounds a lot like Detroit’s recent history
