You know beyond a doubt that they know of what they speak, they indicate the Volt is NOT a hybrid, rather a plug in with a gas engine to recharge the batteries, sound like a plug in hybrid to me.
They go on the cite the Edge as a hybrid, but hmmm, it seems to have a plug in and a hydrogen engine because, as they point out, neither of their engines ever drive the car directly. Go figure, the Volt must not be a hybrid because it uses a gas engine but the edge with it's readly supported hydrogen engine is?????

 

... and they don't bother to mention the Fisker Karma, which should actually beat the Saturn Vue plug-in to market. Won't that be an embarrassment to GM, Ford, Honda and Toyota, all four companies who had electric cars at one time, but now might get beat to market by a company that's only two years old?

Of course, it works like the volt, so let the debate on what a plug-in hybrid is begin.

Who cares how it's powered as long as it goes a long way on very little cost. That's the bottom line.
