Only 100 Nissan Leafs on the road?
According to this article, there are only about 100 Nissan Leafs on the road nationwide.

With all the news surrounding these cars, that seems like an incredibly low number to me.
Even the Chevy Volt - with 650 cars delivered - seems to be WAY below the level of hype behind plug-in electric cars.
I am really surprised.

Why are you surprised? As far as I am concerned, there are no EV cars on the market. Until I can go to a showroom, do a test ride and buy one - they do not exist.
There are currently only three ways to get an EV.

There are currently only three ways to get an EV.
- Build one.
- Buy a used one that is available (either one from the CARB era or one someone else built).
- Pay money up front and wait a looooong time.

That is surprising. I remember a few months back reading an article saying that the Nissan Leaf was a hit in Japan, and that they were overwhelmed by the pre orders. Either that wasn't 100% true. or they are taking a very long time to be delivered.
