Hi HawkGT647:

___I would love to attend one of the Ford sponsored sessions if it was setup in a group training and discussion format. I would have to sit in the back and watch, listen, and learn. Holding my tongue might be a problem Who knows, it would make for an interesting story to post back here afterwards?

___The only time I could see this training as possibly being problematic is if it was an everyday Ford Salesman from the local dealership discussing the EPA - better fuel economy drivel most of us have heard all of our lives as seen at the following: Gas Mileage Tips. Not that these tips are bad (they are not) but they are probably not going to help most new owners realize truly great Fuel Economy that some of GH’s more astute Escape HEV owners have achieved to date unfortunately.

That's a very interesting idea.
I agree, if a salesperson would hold such training....
However, we as a group of hybrid drivers could quite easily set up training meeting somwehere, and learn from each other (especially from the hyper-milers).

The devil is in the details. I like Mary Ann but can she deliver enough regional sites?

Hi Sdctcher:

___I will not run into Mary Ann until next years Chicago Auto show - Press Event and maybe never again but don’t you have some personal contacts through her? You were heading into K.C. later on this year right? If so, hit the Ford guys and gals up for details as I would love to hear what they think would be the proper setting, proper training format, and what they expect the end user to absorb in a shortened class-room type atmosphere if that is what it turns out to be? Just tell them to keep the local dealership salesman/woman out of the loop if at all possible because that will turn out to be a real mess in one hell of a hurry imho.
