Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid

Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid
I don't usually watch Fox News, but in the LA area in just a bit, they're going to do a puff piece on the Fisker Karma (http://www.fiskerautomotive.com/).
Edit update: Segment is over. Fisker said in the segment that it'll get 120 mpg!!! Promising delivery in late '09. I'm glad I didn't put a deposit on a Tesla. I guess we'll see if Fisker can actually deliver in late '09.

Re: Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid
In terms of the development of any automotive technology, there will obviously be something of a "top down" approach - new bits and pieces are developed in high-end cars before becoming more refined, easier to produce and, most importantly, cheap enough.
If Fisker can get the Karma to meet its impressive claims, then the incentive to get better hybrid tech into many new cars will become all the sweeter.
The only problem I have with it is, as the car comes from the man who penned the Aston Vantage, why does it not look more attractive, especially from the front, as here:

Is it just me, but is that not a spot-on lookalike?

Re: Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid
A lot of posters have been doing the Joker comparison.
But I think if you replace the "teeth" with a grill, like the grill on Fisker's Tramonto car, it will look fine. I pre-ordered one, so I'm hoping to work out a grill swap out, and an alternative to the leather interior. Fisker loves leather, but I can't figure out how a car called the "Karma" can get away with leather. Even vegetable tanned leather isn't exactly good for the environment.
Here's the grill from the Tramonto:
