Tips for Regen braking on a Kona EV 2022
Hi EVF,
Does anyone know if driving with the regen braking on 1, 2 or 3 is bad for the brakes or engine? I just got a Kona EV SEL last week and the salesman wasn't much help with that question. I like keeping on 2 as I live in western Colorado where it is steep everywhere. So going down hills, I just take my foot of the pedals and use #2 to keep me from speeding. I also drive in Eco mode.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
