Select 2004 Prius' Require ECU Update

A limited number of 2004 Prius' (a few thousand) should be brought back to the dealer for an SSC update to the ECU software. While there is limited information on the issue, it would behoove every 2004 Prius owner to call Toyota at 800-331-4331 and provide their VIN to see if his car requires the update. Most, however, were already corrected before delivery -- mine included.
