Korea’s new hybrid runs on air
Engadget brings us news of Energine Corp, a Korean company that has made a prototype that runs on compressed air and an electric motor. It runs on compressed air until it hits 15 mph and then the motor turns on. These PHEVs (pneumatic-hybrid electric vehicle) needs to be plugged in of course. Oh, and they’d need a compressed air station. But besides that it sounds like a pretty clean technology to us.
