I'm bracing for the impact of the hordes that will decend upon the site now.

Hi Jason:

___There may not be hordes coming from any particular site or link but look at the member count. It is increasing at a steady logarithmic rate. 3 years from now you will have ~ 6 Billion members Just kidding of course but graph the member count vs. time and you will see what I am speaking of.

___Anyway, Congrats on the recognition. I see new members posting and contributing and it will not be long before Greenhybrid takes on a life of its own …

___Now about those additions … Hmmm. How about a Non-Hybrid automobile forum? You know, stuff like > 40 mpg from any non-hybrid and/or SULEV/PZEV discussion(s)? There has to be some of those former Echofans members running around that can hit 40 + tank after tank? PZEV/SULEV? There are hundreds of thousands of those on the road. Green-non-hybrid should do it Do not forget those Diesel owners either. Sure they are polluting monsters (NOx and PM) compared to an SULEV/PZEV but when running on Bio, at least their CO2 emissions are extremely low and you cannot bash their overall FE? Maybe save the Diesel forum for another day after thinking about it for a second or two …

___Good Luck

Wayne,
Perhaps I'll add a general car forum, but for now I think it's best to stay focused. Diluting the site won't do us much good until there is a solid hybrid member base.

EchoFans is still up...

Yeah I'm not sure that greenhybrid is set to become the next vwvortex.com / thecarlounge.net any time soon, but it's good to know you're getting positive recognition!

Hate to discount them (i'm sure some are), but most were getting high 20's to mid 30's. It would be interesting to look at how hybrid technologies are improving FE in other I.C.E. engines.
