I have been attempting to reset the Average Speed reading on the MID without any success, I have tried holding the sel/reset button per the instructions in the manual. Have managed to reset just about everything else, but the average speed reading just will not reset. Not sure weather this is a bug in my MIS or if anyone else has this problem. If someone could try it on there MID and let me know if they could do a reset I would be grateful.

Turn to page 83 in the Owner's Manual. To reset the Average speed reading, press and hold the SEL/RESET button until the number resets.

 

Calstrek, as mentionioned in the original post that is exactly what I did. It Does not work. According to a response I got on Insight Central the Average Speed display only resets when Trip A is reset, I will try this next time I fill up, so the Manual is inaccruate on this one
