Yeah, I was wondering about this too. I am worried about the drag that the roof rails would cause and effect the mpg. Does anyone have a good looking set they would recommend?

I don't mean to sound like a butt head but how often would you travel with the board. Couldn't you just put the rails and board on when you need them? Hey we have to use air to go ride so I am just making a suggestion is all.kevin

so is there a removable rack and rails for snowboards? from what i've searched around online, everything is pretty much permanent when you attached it to the roof of the car. if you guys have any recommendation, i'd really appreciate it.

Depends what you call permanent. Over twenty years of ski trips, I always put the roof rack on just before leaving for the trip, and took it off when I got home. All it takes is a screwdriver and five minutes of your time.

Wal Mart has these new suction cup dealy things. They are VERY powerful, you just flip the switch and they are locked to your vehicle. I thought about picking up a set, relatively cheap $25 for a set of 4.

Secure it on the trunk, at the proper angle, of course, and use it as a supplemental spoiler?
