I’m looking to replace the windshield on my car and wanted to get a sense of what’s reasonable to expect in terms of cost. I’ve received a few quotes, but they vary widely depending on the shop and type of glass. Does anyone have recent experience with auto glass replacement?

I’m particularly curious about differences between OEM vs. aftermarket glass, labor charges, and whether insurance typically covers the full cost.

Any tips on finding a reliable service without overpaying would be really helpful.
