Need Advice: Trade In or Sell 2007 HCH II - no nav in DFW
I am looking to move on to a different car but I'm not sure about whether I should trade in my 2007 HCH II or sell it as a private party.
It has 57,000 miles, is the Magnetic Pearl, no navi with all recall service performed. It has hail damage a few scratches, a couple door dings, and one unfortunate dent in the driver-side rear door - thanks to my son backing another car out and denting it as he went along side it.
That said, I need to get the best price but I would really like to move this car soon.
Should I expect to be REALLY low-balled at the dealership (will they want to wholesale it) and how (if at all) can I counter them?
