Default How did I do, 2006 Civic Hybrid $21,000 no navigation

$21,000 does NOT include the delivery fee of $550.

I got 3.9% Honda financing but had to get 8yr/120K mile warranty fro $1,175. I hope it is worthed.

The first dealer I went to in Manassas VA tried to charge me $1,495 market value charge on top of MSRP at the last minute.
In fact that over price sticker did not existed when I was checking the car. The sales person put the sticker on the vehicle right before offering us the their final (?) price on the paper.
Then,of course, I left the dealer, and find another one immediately in the neighbouring city (Fairfax), VA, and had them drop the price to 21,000.

I hope this was a good deal..

Also, dealer tried to sell me "tinted windows" of various colors. But, I think HCH comes with some sort of tinted window. Right?

And, Is it worthed to get the navigation system?

Considering that MSRP is $21,850, I think you got an excellent deal. Congratulations!

I would have gone without the extra warranty, but that's a matter of debate around here.

I got my new 2005 HCH CVT in Mannassas, at Koons Honda, for $18,050 (before TTL fees) in June of this year. Was this the dealer that was trying to add the market value charge on top of MSRP? I would be very disappointed if so; I had a great experience with them.

Also, this was pre-Katrina, and the old HCH-I.

Still, 21,550 is a good deal. I got the Nav. Original price I figured on was $2200 w/o Nav. After reading the thread: To nav or not to nav, I decided to get the nav. So I just added the 1500. Since its a mag pearl color with nav its rare so I didn't have much negotation power to work with. I think though the extended warranty is BS based on other threads I read. Anyhow you can always get a better deal for extended warranties on the web. Good luck!

Poli, sounds like you got a good deal to me! Was the 3.9 from Honda a special they are running? Or is it just for certain vehicles?

A very good deal, IMO. It won't likely happen in Cali

My bank had orginally approved me for 6.4%. but the finance guy from Honda gave me 3.9% for 48 months, with the purchase of the extended warranty. In fact, I would have gotton 2.9% had I gone with 36 months from Honda.

The first dealer in Manassas (the crook) had told me that there were no financing specials. This second dealer, however, seemed to be more reasonable with price and financing.

I think it would help to go to the dealer with preaproval from your own bank and negotiate with Honda finance person.
Now, I have to wait 2 weeks to save 500 gallons per year and claim my $2,100 tax credit.

For California: sorry that you guys have incredible demand for hybrids. It makes sense that dealers do not give in from the MSRP. It is the sellers market I guess over there.
