Hello all, I'm hoping someone can help me out here. After my local honda dealership replaced my 2010 civic Hybrid battery (under warranty) they are coming back saying I need a Battery Control Module, part no. 1K100-RMX-A11

They are saying this part is covered for 3/36k miles under the emissions warranty.

column A is for "all vehicles in all states"

scroll to page 2 on the right side "Battery Condition Monitor Module" listed for 8/100k miles

I've been told by many professionals that the "Battery Condition Monitor Module" is the same as the "Battery Control Module"

Is this the same part as referenced to the part number??? If so is there any proof I can bring them showing it is in fact the same part? This has been a huge nightmare for me.

I would have the "stealer", oops I mean "dealer" replace the part and ask for the old part. Ask in advance so they don't do one of those "Oh, we tossed it already". They have to give it to you. Match it. If it is the same then they can pay for it. Be aggressive.
