Default Front license-plate holder fell off.

I guess that's what happens when you take the screws out.

Anyone found a way to cover the small hole in the front bumper? Maybe a small plastic plug? Anyone had any success?

How about a winch? That's about right for a hybrid, right? Hook it into the IMA, you should be able to lift your car off the ground...

Actually I'd like to hear the answer to this as well...

If your state doesn't require a front place, you haven't suffered any real loss. If it does (or you want to put a vanity plate up front), then you should be able to just screw the plate into the holes on the bumper. Otherwise, it seems common caulking compound should cover those holes nicely.

My 06 came with a front license plate holder that was mounted to the underside of the bumper. I removed it and no screw holes were exposed.

My'04 had a front plate mount that was bolted from underneath as well and left no obvious holes, but the top of the frame did put small scratches into the bumper

Awww, Bummer Hot_Georgia. Yeah, there were two bolts on the underside like Archslater describes that I wish mine had, and a single (not too large) but not invisible either screw hole right smack dab in the middle of the front bumper.

I had one whole right in center of bumper. Used black Permatex RTV, then touch up paint. I've done this many times before. The black Permatex RTV just seems to stay put after filling the whole. If it's not dark when I get home I'll take a picture.

Hardware stores, in the section with all the little tiny drawers full of specialty parts, usually have a drawer full of hole plugs. They're little round plastic dots with an insert that goes in the hole to hold it in. I have used these in the past, and they look just like they're factory intended.

Another option would be hex cap screws. If you can find them in the same threads as your license plate bracket used (check the same aisle at the hardware store), they look like caps unless you are really close up. There's a picture of one here which shows a silver one, but they usually come in black.

Good luck.
