Default Floormats

Just curious...how do you like your floormats?

The mats in my 2007 HCH look fine. The driver's side has a hole where my right heel rests when on the gas. The car had less than 11K when the hole first appeared.

Has anyone experienced this? Are there better aftermarket mats that wear longer but still fit??

Thanks,
Lansing

I was thinking of picking up some all season floor mats but just given how quickly the OEM ones wear I'm not sure I'm gonna go with Honda.

My last car had 200k miles on it and the floor mats were about as worn as my OEM ones are after 10k miles. The only thing that I'm not impressed by the HCH seems to be the interior: gets dirtier & worn far more easily than cars built even 15 years ago. Honda needs to get up to speed on quality interiors: you don't need leather to have a quality interior.

With the HCH2, I think the blue ones wear fast. Other colors seem fine? H

Regarding the all weather mats, I had my dealer throw OEM mats ("black") in as part of the deal that we agreed upon. They look and feel durable to me, but I only have 250 miles or so on my odometer right now, so we'll see what they look like in 10k miles.

They are covered under warranty, have them replaced....my first pair had holes in 3,000 miles, so far, the replacements show no wear but I still don't have many miles on my car (blue BTW).
