Chech engine light on 2nd time
The thing that I hate most is that when this happens the ECO mode will not come on until I take it in. The gas millage is going down big time while I am driving on the highway from 30 mpg to about 25 mpg. The first time they said that it was a unexplained miss fire. This was about 2 months ago I was told that everything checked out OK. This time I hope they look at it longer because if it happens again I will get upset because I really like this car.

Something you may consider is to have a place like AutoZone read the code for you at no cost and have them reset it. They may also be able to tell you what is causing the problem like maybe a loose gas cap or something easy that has been over looked before.
They can also reset the CIL and your mpg shoudl go back up BUT of course, the service center wont have a code to be read is someone else clears it before they see it.
You do have some choices, make the best one that fits your schedule.

Run_N, I am right there with you!! I had the same issue last week.
The last time this happend, it was at 22K miles. They reset under warranty but didn't fmware update. Well now at 45K it happend againg (~passing at 85mph/5600rpm) no update.
The pisser was that they charged me $75 to reset w/o a fix.
I will use AutoZone or buy a scanner next time ($69 on ebay). What is the value-add of the dealership when this happens every 20K miles and they reset.

Well my car is still at the dealer they called one of Hondas master techs in Cal. They were looking at all of the info from my computer an still are not sure what is causing the random miss fire but they want to replace all of my fuel injectors. Now I have to wait till monday because the dealer doesn't stock them. I have a loaner accord its a V4 no nav, no leather, no sunroof and no sat. radio. I want my car back now
I finally took mine into the dealer today after the check engine light kept coming on at least once per tank of gas. It would remain lit until after I had refueled, usually after the 2nd or 3rd errand after the gas station. I was very conscious about tightening down the gas cap every time, so it was not the "didn't tighten properly" problem.
Turns out that I need a new catalytic converter. I have only 25000 miles on this '05 HAH. Good thing it's under warranty!

Ok I have had my car for several weeks now. They replaced all of the Fuel injectors and it has run without any problems. They had my car for 2 extra days to try a few different fixes and the only thing that solved the problem was to replace all of the injectors.
I mentioned it another post, but I had a check engine light in my car, a HAH 2006. They had to fix one issue with valve timing but the other code was a misreading on the engine mount sensor. This causes the check engine light with no problems. The dealer said a firmware fix will be out in April. My dealer will now reset my car right in the drop off lane, no fee...
I recently had a check engine light issue also. I washed the car at a car wash with one of those high pressure guns, and apparently got something wet. The car was fine on the way home, but when I went out later, the check engine, the IMA and the battery light were all on. The next day, only the check engine light was on, but as you mentioned, the ECO mode doesn't kick in. I put about 100 miles on the car, then parked for awhile, and when I started up again, all was well! It has been fine ever since.
Didn't I read somewhere if there was an error code, it would reset after 3 start-ups?

Anyone get these multi cylinder misfires fixed? One got all new injectors, but I doubt that was the cause of the real problem as a bad injector is just that a bad injector.
