Default Seats a pain in the but!

Anyone else find the seats uncomfortable after a while? After about a half hour they feel like a coach airline seat. Anyone have a quick(and cheap) comfort fix?

I've sat in my drivers seat for two hours at a stretch several times, and for four hours twice now, and can't really say I've had the same problem despite being 6'4" 250lb. Take some time and just sit it in out in your driveway and work with it. If it makes you uncomfortable, odds are the seat and wheel aren't adjusted properly.

I agree with Chris. I find it helps to adjust the seat and wheel periodically. I've sat on the seats for up to 4.5 hours straight. Unlike my previous car, I'm not left stiff and sore the next day.

I've got a 13 hour drive next Tuesday (Anaheim to southern Oregon). I hope those seats are REALLY comfy!

There are airline seats other than coach? That must be why my HCHII seats feel comfortable.

We did NYC-to-Miami at the end of May and the seats aren't the most comfortable, but they're not painful, either. (Then again, we had a CRV, so almost anything's an improvement.)

Just remember--whether driving or flying--to get up and walk around a few minutes at least every 4 hours to reduce the risk of deep-vein thrombosis.

I have noticed on long trips (over an hour) my butt hurts from the pressure of my wallet. I now take my wallet out of my pocket if I'm going to longer drives. The driver's seat fits me nicely!

Mark,

Come to think of it, that's exactly the way I felt on my last trip from the OC to Arroyo Grande. I took my wallet out and the issue was resolved!

Try picking-up a wedge-shaped seat cushion (one that is higher in the back than the front). I found one at Bed Bath and Beyond for around $15; solved the problem for me.
