P0A7F - but only sometimes?

I'm nearing 200k on my 07 civic. I've owned her for the last ~30k, stayed on top of maintenance, etc etc. She had a new battery put in 3 years ago this month.
I made the mistake of letting her sit for about a month while I was working on other cars, and when I fired her up the 12v had finally bit the dust. Replaced it and she ran like a dream. About three weeks ago, I made it about 300 miles into a 350 mile trip when she threw P0A7F for the first time, with no other related codes - just the CEL and IMA light. Cleared them on the side of the highway and didn't have an issue again.
I left Monday night for a ~2000 mile round trip jaunt, and about 250 miles in she threw the same codes. If I shut her off and turned her back on, the IMA light would disappear for any length of time (leaving the CEL) but always came back. The furthest she held without clicking the light on was about 200 miles again.
Despite these issues, the autostop works great, I'm getting great fuel economy, and I'm not really seeing any distinct issues except maybe excess IMA recal, although being on hilly interstates makes that harder to identify.
All 11 sticks are reading at 16.3-16.4 volts, the 12v is holding up seemingly fine. I'm really at a loss. Has anyone else ran into a similar issue/have any tips on where to go from here?
