Question O2 Sensor

I have 25K mi on my '06 HCH II. I took it in for the malfunction light, and they replaced the O2 Sensor. Any one else needed this? Seemed a bit early to me.

Default Re: O2 Sensor

You are right. It is a little too early to have that part replaced.

Did they by any chance, notice/note anything else during the service report?

Since it is not a cheap part to replace, it is normal for them to record a little more info (diagnosis/observations) especially when performing a warranty part replacement.

Stupid Question:
What type of gas to you use in your area ? Did you modify your engine in any way (like a cold air intake, high flow air filter, etc)?

Cheers;
