Hi all,

I have a question. I looked at the manual and did some searches here.

On the dash board where it shows RPM, mileage, Oil Life, etc. It also shows MPG. Mine currently says 35.2. I bought this car used and I want to reset it. Is there a way to reset this?

Also that number is that the total car life's mpg? Or since last fill up or last reset?

Since last reset. When the info is on the display, hold the select/reset button down. The mpg and trip meter will return to 0.

Yeah, and there are 2 of those calculations - one for each trip meter - A & B.

I always wonder when people say they bought a used 2008 hybrid - what were the last owners thinking getting rid of such a great vehicle! Maybe they have good reasons though.. hmm.

 

It was "totaled" and sold as salvage. Rebuilt. I bought it from a body shop.

 

Oh I see, cool. Mind if I ask what you were able to get it for then? I almost bought a salvaged RX8 once... great deal, but everyone talked me out of it - but I was real young then..
