Default EV mode

Does anyone have the criteria for when the HCH II goes into EV mode? I know what the brochure says, and I think I have caught it a couple of times going into EV mode, but does anyone have the specific criteria? Speeds, loads, etc.
Would appreciate it.

Check out the HCH-II bible. Everything you want to learn about your car...

On my commute, I spend the first half going up hill, buring quite a bit of gas... but then the second half is pretty much all down hill. It's harder to stay in "EV mode" at freeway speeds, but if you're going down a slight grade, it's not that hard to keep speed. I find that I can slip into this mode (I believe it's called EV-Assist in tarabell's article--the link msantos posted) at most any speed, given the right conditions. Using glide and ev-assist at freeways speeds can sure bump up your mileage in a hurry.
