Back-up car
I have a 2001 Olds Alero GL V6 as a "back-up" car. Pack maintenance or my recent issues with compressor replacement can take a car out of the game for a week or two, and dealer avoidance necessitates a spare car.
While I'm still committed to high fuel economy vehicles, I am going to have to take an occasional drive in a "traditional" car. With temps solidly above 100°F, the Honda A/C is never 100% up to the task; however, the Alero's V6, oversize A/C and smaller cabin volume make the AZ heat its b1tch.
Not to mention the punch and torque of a 3.4L V6. It's like heaven for an adrenaline junkie compared to a 1.3L+20hp from electric... through a CVT...
So, fleet mileage will go down a bit... at least during the hottest months.
Don't judge me.

I haven't had an issue yet with my AC, but I live in GA, temps are high 80s to mid 90s... and I work at a tire manufacturer so I'm subjected to high temps all day, including up to 116
My house AC has been set to 80 for a while, cause otherwise I'm cold... down to 78 today and I'm still burning up for some reason.. lol

What is this air conditioning of which you speak? Oh that coolish air that blows out of my dashboard?
I am just West of Atlanta and do not use AC in the house, but then I grew up in Texas so as long as it is below 105 or so I am OK.
Valalvax this summer has been weird .. rain humidity and temp in our atlanta area.

We haven't had a lot of rain other than a week or two ago when it rained most every day... I get freezed out on car trips have to point the vents away from myself cause my gf insists on having the AC on, sometimes I sneak it off lol
I couldn't do no AC in the house lol, don't want to feel like work at home

Well as long as she is paying for the gas ... personally, my AC never goes below 79
Eh, I pay for gas, bought the car, pay for insurance, rent, etc etc... she watches the kid lol
