AC refrigerant oil
Hi, I have been the owner of a Honda Civic HCH2 for several years, but from the beginning there has never been any air conditioning service and it is not working well. Air conditioning works but not very efficient.
I have read a lot of threads on the forum and I know that if I want to do it myself I need clean r134a - no oil etc. the problem is that R134a is very difficult to obtain (for ordinary residents) in my country and buying from abroad is expensive.
I found a local service that claims that it refill the coolant in the air conditioning of hybrid cars. They said they had a "special hybrid oil" But I am afraid that the oil used in this Honda is unique, and you can't just mix it with other non-conductive ones ?
I found a lot of oils on the Internet that are supposed to be hybrid systems. just type in the internet "POE AC oil." and it seems to me that this is what they use.
Something like this which is 26$/1L
