2008 honda civic hybrid
Hi. I recently did a battery recondition/maintainenance with hybrid automotive products. Also did new engine and cvt fluids change. Also changed the air filter (not oem) the previous one was super dirty. My question is, My MPG went down about 3-4. I just drove it about 50 hwy miles. Should I give it more time for everything to adjust or maybe I missed something. Overall I feel the battery better, it last longer being full but again it has only been a short driving experience since doing all those things.

Air-conditioning use easily pulls at least 3-4mpg.
Go back to OEM or equivalent air filter.
50 hwy miles is not at all adequate to assess performance unless it's a deliberate course and you're comparing the mpg from runs at different times under controlled conditions. Unless you have DETAILED mileage records, statements like "mpg went down about 3-4" are completely meaningless. As an example, when I talk about my mileage, it's based on the miles traveled and fuel input over the course of the last 59 fill-ups (24K miles):
Note the wild variations. Almost all of those are due to driving style.
