Default Doing an Oil Change

Hey guys,

I have a 2004 HCH and I want to change the oil myself. I'm going to use mobil-1 0w-20 and the mobil-1 filter. I was wondering how many quarts do I need to do the oil change?

Thanks!

I have a 2003 HCH. My manual states 3.2 litres . I believe that is 3.4 U.S. quarts. However, I put in three litres and it appears to be on the top mark of the dipstick

Thanks for the reply. I bought 3 quarts because I didn't have the car with me at the time, so I couldn't check the manual. It appears that i do need to pour about another half quart of oil in there.
