Hi all,

I'm about a year old owner of an 03 civic hybrid. I've read up on the CVT and battery (have a grid charger). I was curious about HCH I CVT owners:

1. Miles driven, any issues with CVT or no
2. How often changed CVT fluid
3. At how many miles switched from ATF-Z to CVT fluid



For myself,
1. Bought the car close to 60k miles with a few previous owners, carfax showed no transmission issues. Close to 85k now, no CVT issues
2. When first got the car, CVT fluid was clear. I changed fluid for every 5k probably first 3 times, and now switching to every other oil change/10k
3. Not sure about this

 

1. I'm at 256,000 miles on my 2003 HCH1 CVT right now. No issues.
2. Fluid changed every 20,000 miles. Very easy to do.
3. Honda CVT fluid since day one.

 

Wow, that's pretty good. Hopefully I'll get there too lol. I change my own fluids too but have yet to find a good transmission funnel that fits perfectly.
