Toyota sold over 60,000 cars and no longer has any tax credits. Honda has passed the mark and the tax credits are either decreasing or will soon end. Ford and GM still have plenty of tax credits remaining, they haven't sold enough hybrids to use it up.

The company doesn't get the tax credit, but the person buying the car does. Unless you are leasing the car, in which case the person leasing the car does not get the credit.
