Default Start confusion

Hi guys, new to the forum. Thanks for any insight on this issue in advance.
my daughter got a 2011 Chevy Tahoe hybrid, and this is my first learning experience on it.
starting up the big v8 fires right up and runs then shuts off and fires up again, repeats this process a dozen times then usually shuts off completely. This process produces multiple codes including stabilitrac, mass airflow sensor, oil pressure. After it shuts off and codes are cleared it will fire up and run fine (vehicle drives down the road amazingly but starting up is the issue)
first research indicated that a faulty hybrid battery would cause this and it made sense to me. Seems like it doesn’t know if it want to run on electric or gas and keeps flipping from one to another. Pulled the battery out and tested all connections and modules (7.7v across the board on all 40) no issues with the pack itself.
Any input on what else I can look for to correct this problem? There is very limited info on how this transmission/generator set up works and how to troubleshoot it.

12V is first suspect, unless it's been tested and confirmed good.

What codes are being reported? Is there a reason you're willing to take the time to post but refuse to include this critical information? Have you done troubleshooting against those codes (assuming you confirmed your 12V is good with absolute certainty)?

7.7V/module is inconclusive. See this thread.
