Default Sierra Hybrid WOT Issue?

I don't even know if this is an issue at all but I would like to catch any problems early so the dealer can take care of them under warranty. I don't usually find myself bringing the Hybrid to red-line that often (not like in the G8 ) but the couple of times I have it wasn't a pleasant experience. I know its a goofy trans and has odd shifting characteristics but when I compare my truck's 0-60 to others on YouTube its different.

Heres an example of a Tahoe Hybrid 0-60:

Heres an example of an Escalade Hybrid 0-60:

Notice the tach goes to 5500rpm and the trans slowly shifts back down in both videos. Now heres mine (I turned TC off so it wouldn't interfere):

Straight to 6k rpm and it kind of hangs there...every time I do it (of course the time I tape it acts a little better but still!). The power even drops off at 6k as if the fuel cutoff was reached and then the transmission finds itself and resumes accelerating. Is this normal or should I start worrying about clutchpack wear or am I a hypochondriac and should just shut up and enjoy my truck? I am towing my Trans Am from MD to a race in OH later this year and I don't want to get stuck in the mountains!

to keep it planted to 5500 rpm you should accelerate up to 100mph where it is governed.
