ECO Meter and Cruise Control
Sometimes when in cruise control and the vehicle excellerates up a hill to maintain the set speed the ECO meter works and other times it does not. I am going to ask the dealer if this is a problem? Anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I've seen that too.
Something else I notice that seems strange. Every day going to work, I get on the interstate at an entrance with a fairly steep down hill entrance. I'm slowly accelerating and the eco needle dives to the right.
I've tried this many different ways, and at different speeds, and the only thing I notice that could be the factor is the hill. I'd think that you'd get better economy going down, just like you'd think the needle should dive to the right going UP a hill!
I'd say I'm at about 30 mph where I'm getting on, and have plenty of room before I have to merge on, so I'm not heavy on the pedal.
