Brake Pedal Squeak

I purchased a 2008 chevy hybrid in august. Shortly after I noticed a bad squeak from the brake pedal. The engine could be on or off and i still get the very loud squeak. The truck only has 29000 miles on it. any Idea's out there?

I hear that from a Silverado once.....

Nothing that WD-40 didn't fix in mine.

Some rust build from the coastal city I live in
