2015 Cmax energi -Slow 120v charging
Hello all,
I just bought a 2015 Cmax energi with 49k miles. It runs great but the charger that came with the car (FM58-10B706AG) takes about 14 hours to charge the battery. Ive fully charged it and got about 20 miles in EV mode so the battery seems fine. I hooked it up to my kill a watt when charging and did the math. It's charging at about 530 watts, even though it's a 1440W charger.
i haven't plugged it into a level 2 charger yet, but wanted to see if anybody has had this experience before I buy another charger.
